There are several links to the left that will show and tell you more about us. If you are researching the Purkiss family name we are originally from Portsmouth (Portsea) and most probably from Cadnam in the New Forrest in the 1800's and therefore speculatively like most of the Purkiss's from Hampshire related to the 'Purkis' mentioned on the Rufus Stone.
We were hoping to have moved by now and I was going to share the progress of us settling in and our grand plans we had for what would have been a very large garden. However due to delays with the sale of our current house we are unable to proceed to buy the house we want. It might all come together but each day without progress from the buyer of our current house means we are sliding towards not moving to the house we want. I'm sure there is another house out there for the 4.5 of us but as time marches on the arrival of number 3 child creeps ever closer and so I'd prefer that we have moved before the end of the summer.
So due to the above I have not been able to add much content to our House and Garden pages. I have password protected the Photo's page but send me an e-mail and I'll gladly share the password with you.
